Strategic ICT Review, Abu Dhabi International Airport, (2016- 2017)
McCor was asked to undertake an independent and comprehensive strategy review of the ICT solutions being delivered to the Midfield Terminal Building (MTB). This task encompassed the core Airport Operating System (AOS), Facilities Management (FM), Airport Management Centre (AMC) and other associated solutions. The objective was to understand the main risks to the MTB project posed by the ICT Systems.
The first task was delivered successfully and led to an invitation to progress the findings of the strategic review to a second phase to develop a campus wide strategy and roadmap encompassing the AOS, FM, Airport CDM, AMC and other systems initiatives across the whole airport. The roadmap included the campus systems integration strategy, data models and inter-project critical path analysis. Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN) was used to capture operational and business needs including the new A-CDM project. |

The outcome of the modelling formed the baseline for the solution roadmap which encompasses all ICT solutions for the MTB, existing South Side Terminals and airport operational and logistical infrastructure such as Common Utilities Plant (CUPS) facilities.
